MDEQ Issues Beach Advisory for Station in Biloxi
The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), through its Beach Monitoring Program, issued a water contact advisory Tuesday for Station 11A (Edgewater Beach). Advisories remain in effect for Stations 5, 6, and 10. These segments of beach are not closed; however, there may be an increased risk of illness associated with swimming in these areas.

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), through its Beach Monitoring Program, issued water contact advisories Friday for Station 5 (Pass Christian West Beach) and Station 6 (Pass Christian Central Beach). Advisories remain in effect for Stations 9 and 10 in Gulfport.
