The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Hinds County a solid waste assistance grant of $20,383 that will be used by the county for clean up of illegal dumps and a grant of $50,000 for the e-waste refurbishment program at Jackson State University. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Copiah County a solid waste assistance grant of $26,974 that will be used by the county for a solid waste enforcement officer. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Clarke County a solid waste assistance grant of $13,426 that will be used by the county for clean up of illegal dumps. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Claiborne County a solid waste assistance grant of $42,921 that will be used by the county for a solid waste enforcement officer and for clean up of illegal dumps. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Attala County a solid waste assistance grant of $52,927 that will be used by the county for a solid waste enforcement officer and for clean up of illegal dumps. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded Adams County a solid waste assistance grant of $20,956 that will be used by the county for a solid waste enforcement officer. 

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) awarded the City of Starkville a solid waste assistance grant of $25,000 that will be used by the city for its recycling program.

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) has awarded Tunica County a solid waste assistance grant of $11,171 that will be used by the county for clean up of illegal dumps. MDEQ also awarded the county a $25,000 waste tire grant to continue the local waste tire collection program for small quantity generators of waste tires.
