MS4 – Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System

The Mississippi Environmental Quality Permit Board is proposing to reissue the Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) general permit. This permit covers the State of Mississippi and authorizes stormwater discharges and allowable non-stormwater discharges entering small MS4s. If reissued, this general permit would be active for a five-year period. This general permit will replace the previous MS4 general permit that expired on February 28, 2021.
