REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

Notice is hereby given that the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) is soliciting written Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from engineering firms licensed to do business in the State of Mississippi to assist MDEQ with engineering and design, including permit support, as more thoroughly described in the scope of work, in relation to the West Hancock County Nearshore Habitat Restoration Project (the “Project”), on an as needed basis, related to natural resource restoration projects implemented on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, which is necessitated by the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill

A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m., September 1, 2022 online utilizing GoTo Meeting and can be accessed at https://meet.goto.com/794260253 or by phone at +1 (646) 749-3122; Access Code: 794-260-253. The purpose of the pre-submittal conference is to allow potential offerors an opportunity to present questions to staff and obtain clarification of the procurement requirements.

SOQs will be received until 3:00 p.m. CDT, Monday, September 19, 2022 at the MDEQ office located at 515 East Amite St., Jackson, MS 39201 or electronically via MAGIC (RFX# 3140003179). All bids received after this deadline will be returned unopened.
