On December 11, 2025, Governor Reeves announced new restoration projects for the State of Mississippi designed to help restore and protect the environment and economy of the state following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
The projects announced are included on two plans that were released today for public review and comment.
- Mississippi’s Multiyear Implementation Plan (MIP) Amendment #9. The MIP is a list of projects and programs proposed for funding under Bucket 1 of the RESTORE Act.
- Mississippi’s 2025 State Expenditure Plan (MSEP) Amendment. The MSEP is a list of projects and programs proposed for funding under Bucket 3 of the RESTORE Act.
Both plans are available for public review and comment beginning today through March 9, 2026. MIP Amendment #9 and the 2025 MSEP Amendment are available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
