The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, through its Beach Monitoring Program, has lifted a beach water contact advisory for Pass Christian Central Beach.
Water samples at this station show the area has reached acceptable bacteria levels.
Again, the ADVISORY has been LIFTED for:
- Pass Christian Central Beach — the previously associated beach extends from Henderson Ave. to Heirn Ave. (Station 6)
Swimmers are reminded that the Beach Task Force has a standing recommendation that swimming should not occur during or within 24 hours of significant rainfall.
