MDEQ Issues Water Contact Advisory for Station 10
(JACKSON, Miss.) – The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), through its Beach Monitoring Program, issued a water contact advisory Saturday for sampling station 10 in Gulfport (Gulfport Central Beach).
An advisory is issued for:
►Station 10 – Gulfport Central Beach — from Alfonso Dr. east to Arkansas Ave.
This segment of beach is not closed; however, there may be an increased risk of illness associated with swimming in this area.
