Ask a Geologist

Did you find an interesting rock or fossil in Mississippi that you want to know more about?

Submit the completed form below, along with an attached photo, and a geologist will contact you! Every submission is important to the Office of Geology; please allow up to five business days to process the request.  After all, the staff could be out in the field searching for fossils, too!
