The Water I Branch of the Environmental Permits Division (EPD) oversees the development, support, issuance, and maintenance of environmental wastewater (NPDES, Pretreatment, State Operating) permits related to the chemical manufacturer sector, energy and transportation sector, and agricultural sector. This branch also develops and issues the following general permits:
- Dry Litter Poultry AFO GP
- Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation (CAFO) GP
- Underground Storage Tank (UST) Remediation GP
- Hydrostatic Discharge GP
